Scholarship Awards

content_0008_scolarship.jpgThe future of our economy and quality of life depend upon the preparation of a diverse cadre of leaders who can help build a stronger society. Each year, Microsoft Licensing, GP awards community scholarships to high school students interested in studying Business, Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance or Accounting at the University of Nevada, Reno or Truckee Meadows Community College. These potential leaders, especially those drawn from groups that have traditionally and historically been denied access to higher education, require the necessary support and opportunities to each and complete a college education.

The Microsoft Licensing, GP Scholarship was established in 2006 to provide outstanding, low income diverse students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college degree. The goal of Microsoft Licensing, GP is to promote academic excellence by providing new and continuing outstanding students, who have significant financial need, the opportunity to reach their full potential.
