IT Makeover
Good Deeds Deserve Good IT
Are you a non-profit organization in northern Nevada with drab or dysfunctional IT? Microsoft Licensing, GP and IQ Technology are kicking off the fourth annual IT Makeover Campaign where we provide a total of $30,000 worth of technology enhancements and upgrades to a few deserving recipients. Recipients are selected from an application pool of non-profit agencies throughout northern Nevada that demonstrate a significant need for information technology solutions. Our goal is to provide solutions that allow them to meet their missions and goals within the local community.
Technology is critical to non-profit organizations, helping to increase productivity, improve communication, and develop data management. These components enable the charitable organizations to deliver their services, raise money, and help the community. With the current challenging economic climate, charitable donations have decreased while requests for services continue to increase. This often means that funding for technology updates and enhancements is put on the back burner. Former IT Makeover recipients have used makeover funding to update existing IT solutions and add new capabilities, generating positive results for years to come.
The 2011 recipients were C*A*R*E Chest of Sierra Nevada, Child Assault Prevention (CAP) Project and Northern Nevada RAVE Family Foundation.
